About me - I’ve always wanted to make something.
I’m Ian Hazzard, a software developer and entrepreneur in Gainesville, Florida. Curiosity has been the through line.
From imagination to something real.
I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was drawn to cameras, Legos, reading, and anything that required imagination or creativity. I just wanted to make something.
I spent my college years at Liberty University studying Live Sports Television Production, where I honed my craft as a director. In 2023, I was nominated as director for best student broadcast by the Sports Video Group.
That same creative drive brought me to software. Coding is the ultimate creative medium — a way to create something truly from scratch, limited only by imagination.
Today, I work at LavaVein, consulting, teaching, and building modern software solutions for complex business challenges.
